VIC ELECTION 2026

What is the plan for community health?

Contact your elected representatives and candidates and ask them to support community health this November

Every Victorian should be able to access care and support close to home, whatever their income, but as the cost of living rises, too many are going without.

Community health can help. But demand is growing faster than funding, and waiting lists are growing with it.

Email your elected representatives today to find our their plan for community health this election.

Fill in your details to send the following email to your elected representatives

Dear Premier Ben Carroll, Opposition Leader Jess Wilson, One Nation Victorian State President Warren Pickering, Health Minister Ingrid Stitt and Shadow Minister for Health Ms Georgie Crozier,

What is your plan for community health this election?

Good health is the foundation of a good life. That's why this election I'm supporting community health, and the work they do every day to keep our firends, families and communities healthy and well.

At a time when families across Victoria are weighing rent, groceries and power bills against a physio appointment, a mental health session, or doctor's check-up, we need community health more than ever.

Community health provides low-cost, trusted care close to home. But demand is growing faster than funding, and waiting lists are growing with it.

Every dollar spent on health is a choice. This is election, you have the choice to invest in the care and support that keeps people well. Making our communities healthier and reducing the pressure on our hospitals.

This election will you commit to:

  • Increasing Community Health Program funding to 1% of the overall health budget

  • Increasing infrastructure funding to 3% of the overall health infrastructure spend

I'm looking forward to seeing your public commitments to community health ahead of the election.
